PRESIDENT (2005) - Milo M.
Zonka, CFP ('95)
Milo is president
of Zonka & Associates, Inc., an independent financial services
firm in Melbourne, FL.
After graduation from the
College of
Aeronautics, Milo worked in flight operations management for
several carriers, running various dispatch and crew scheduling
departments. During that time he was apt to find the most
challenging and financially despondent air carrier he could in
which he set up shop.
Following a move to Miami, Milo
elected to change careers and earned the Certified Financial
Planner designation. He is an avid aviation buff and keeps
his finger--maybe even a few fingers--on the pulse of the aviation
industry.
Milo lives near FIT with his wife,
Deb, and their five children.

DIRECTOR (2005) - Capt.
Zach Grant ('95)
Zach grew up in an aviation-oriented family, so
it was only natural that his life would revolve around airplanes.
He transferred to Florida Tech from the United States Air Force
Academy and pursued a B.S. in Aviation Management Flight
Technology.
Shortly after graduating (and multiple odd
aviation jobs), he joined the airline ranks as a pilot for USAir
Express carrier Chautauqua Airlines. After two type ratings,
more than three years, four seat changes and five domicile
changes, Zach left Chautauqua for greener pastures. In 1998
he reported to American Trans Air as a first officer on the L1011
Tristar. For five fantastic years, Zach operated mostly
international charter and contract flying, including some very
“interesting” flying for the US military. Today Zach
serves as a Captain on the 737-800 for ATA Airlines out of
Chicago.
Zach remains an active
flight instructor and takes great interest in promoting aviation
and aviation safety. He is also a longtime aircraft owner
and builder. He and
his wife Amanda reside in Indianapolis, IN with no kids, dogs or
cats—they are still trying to keep the fake ficus tree in the
living room alive.
